The week starts when we pick you up at the airport followed by a beautiful drive along the Continental Divide to our Lodge situated on the banks of the Big Hole River. The afternoon is yours to enjoy the lodge, prepare your equipment, get outfitted with ours, or fish the riffles along our property. The day is completed with an exquisite meal in a western setting that is unsurpassed. Trout are often feeding in the channel just feet away from our dining table.
Day two will start with breakfast to order followed by a meet & greet with your guide and instruction if desired. Your day is spent with your guide floating as well as wading and always on a blue ribbon trophy section of water. Your picnic is served riverside to reminisce about the morning catch and prep for the afternoon hatch. After your day of angling you can expect first rate pampering and excellent cuisine. Many guests adjourn to the deck to experience crimson sunsets behind snow blanketed Goat Peak, while sharing stories of day. Our guides often share this time and their music until the stars appear signaling time for dreams of what tomorrow may bring.
Although we will be emphasizing on our attention toward exiqusit service this does not mean we take our fishing lightly. You will fish with the saltiest guides that have ever haunted the rivers and shores of Montanas’ south west. Our “gillies” eat sleep and breath fishing, where theses silvery trophies live and what they like to eat. Nearly all of them are native born to the valley and all to Montana. This is what our guides do, this is not a short stop between college and the board room, they are the real deal.
Keep in mind this is your time and we know how valuable it is. Our job is to provide service and opportunity so your time is spent most enjoyably. Outdoor opportunities other than fishing are available and the Big Hole Valley is host to many natural and historic wonders.
