If the lodge and cabins were any closer, you’d need waders to get out of bed! We know the Big Hole intimately. Our guides have floated and fished every swing, run, and pocket for decades. The fishing here is as epic as the scenery. Hatches are abundant throughout the season, from flocks of humungous salmonflies to blizzards of tiny tricos. Streamer fishing is an excellent way to meet the famously large brown trout of the Big Hole, and the nymph game remains in play all seasons. We float each stretch, but the pin-ball boulders in sections of this magnificent river also make for fantastic wade fishing.
